The Flyers would trade 2 firsts (22 &30) plus a 2nd (48) to get a pick right away. Deal contingent on a certain player still being available. If anyone is interested DM me.

Chicago is looking to package our late 1st rounder(25) and Dallas’s 2nd rounder(64) for a higher first. 34 is available in the right package

With the 11th overall pick the Pittsburgh Penguins select LHD - Kashawn Aitcheson.

Scouting report:
  • Team: Barrie Colts (OHL)
  • Height/Weight: 6'1", 198 lbs
  • Shoots: Left
  • Playing Style: Aitcheson is a physical, two-way defenseman who thrives on using his body to disrupt plays. He has refined his physical game, reducing unnecessary penalties while maintaining his aggressive edge.
  • Offensive Ability: His offensive game has taken a big leap, with a dangerous shot from the point. He ranks among the top-scoring defensemen in the OHL, trailing only a couple of 2024 first-round picks.
  • Defensive Strengths: Aitcheson is known for his stick work and ability to shut down rushes. While he occasionally takes himself out of position when attempting big hits, his overall defensive awareness has improved.
  • Skating & Transition: He is a mobile defenseman with solid skating mechanics, capable of leading rushes and making breakout passes. His ability to transport the puck up the ice is a key asset.
  • Areas for Improvement: Needs to refine his decision-making when activating offensively and ensure he doesn’t overcommit physically, which can leave him out of position.
With the 12th overall pick the Pittsburgh Penguins select C - Cole Reschny.

  • Offensive Ability: He leads the WHL in assists per game among draft-eligible players, showcasing his ability to drive offensive production. His elite passing and vision make him a dangerous playmaker.
  • Defensive Strengths: Reschny is engaged defensively, contributing to puck retrieval and maintaining possession. His ability to anticipate plays helps prevent odd-man rushes.
  • Skating & Transition: He is quick and agile, using sharp directional changes and deceptive puck handling to manipulate defenders. His ability to control the pace of play is a standout trait.
  • Areas for Improvement: While undersized, Reschny compensates with his intelligence and skill. He could improve his physical battle strength to be more effective in puck battles

1 (12) - Cole Reschny. (C)

@McDoused is on the clock for Detroit.

:wings

After an incredible draft last year, GM McDoused steps towards to podium with his new team and entourage of nerds. "First I would like to congratulate the Edmonton Oilers on their Stanley Cup Victory. We hope that this tire fire of an organization can one day emulate the greatness we saw this year."

The Detroit Red Wings are proud to select from the Soo of the OHL, Brady Martin.

Brady is an absolute dog that will hit guys twice his size. He's has some bite to his game and this draft isn't very good. So getting a player here that will make us harder to play against and compliment our current group seems like a win.

Up next is Columbus @ChaoticOrange
