Barring any trades, @ConnorMcMullet and the Seattle Kraken are now on the clock.

With the 58th pick in the HF Oilers mock entry draft, the Vegas Golden Knights are pleased to select, from Portland of the WHL, defenseman, Max Psenicka.

@Fixed to Ruin and the pens are up at 59.
Damn, only a few left on my list now and I don't pick again until 87 haha.

Also, I keep thinking he should be born in Vegreville with that last name of his.

My list got decimated since my trade back. Great picks. Rombach and Limatov especially painful
In the 10 or so years I've been deep diving into the draft, this is the most littered I've ever seen it with massive defenders on the backend. Both left and right shot guys, already drafted and still to come, there are just a pile of these guys, and the real scouts have their work cut out for them this year to find the ones that have the puck skills, hockey sense and mobility to make their size projectable to the NHL. This will be a great draft to look back at 10 years from now to see which scouts did the best job.

With the 59th overall pick the Pittsburgh Penguins select C - Conrad Fondrk.

  • Team: U.S. National U18 Team (USNTDP) / Comitted to Boston University (NCAA)
  • Height/Weight: 6'0", 192 lbs
  • Shoots: Left
  • Playing Style: Fondrk is a high-skill, offensive-minded forward who thrives on creativity and quick decision-making. He blends speed, skill, and hockey IQ to generate scoring chances.
  • Offensive Ability: He has a heavy shot and is capable of beating goaltenders from distance. His ability to find soft ice and capitalize on scoring opportunities makes him a dangerous offensive presence.
  • Defensive Strengths: Fondrk is engaged defensively, using his reach and positioning to break up plays. He has shown strong capability in finding passing lanes and disrupting opponents' setups.
  • Skating & Transition: He is quick and agile, with strong edge work that allows him to evade defenders and create space. His ability to push the pace and execute in transition is a key asset.
  • Areas for Improvement: Needs to increase his consistency, as his motor can be up and down at times. His shooting accuracy could also improve to maximize his offensive impact.
2025 Draft Picks
1 (11) - Kashawn Aitcheson. (D)
1 (12) - Cole Reschny. (C)
2 (59) - Conrad Fordrk
