They already have the highest paid offensive line in the league. Their tackles got wrecked by the Texans and Eagles. That money would be more wisely put to a left tackle.

OT Taylor's contract is guaranteed for 2025. So, they are stuck with him or eating a boatload of dead cap to move off from him. Thuney, they need to basically convert most of the base salary into a bonus to lower the high $20 something mill cap charge to something closer to $20 mill or under.
