This is what I mean about Whitt. You almost never see help for the DBs, they’re not allowed to leverage one direction knowing they have help. Nothing disguised, not even Spencer Rattler was fooled one iota.

Whitt is a mediocre d-coordinator at best, and that’s being generous. Once in a blue moon he finds his nut with a blitz but that’s about it. If this offense didn’t hold the ball for large chunks every game they would be historically bad. Yea AP may upgrade the talent but we need to take advantage of JD5’s rookie contract and make the most of it. An average defense with high level talent (which I suspect is Whitt’s ceiling) won’t cut it.

Do you have any idea how bad they were last year? Record setting bad, worst in the league by a huge margin.
