Usually guys like Newman show flashes, consistency is the issue early on. He shows no flashes. Nothing, nada. He’s had enough time this season to improve some coming off the injury. I see a guy who’s not particularly quick or powerful and gets manhandled one on one by blockers. Short of Dejean getting a serious injury, it’s not even close.

They ran a play to get into FG range that I think was designed specifically for a spike after a long throw over the middle. On a normal play you wouldn't have expected them to get to the line so quickly but everyone was right in the vicinity immediately.
