They really, really missed Lattimore.

Hopefully they have him and Biadasz and Ekeler for the playoffs.
Kinda preparing that Lattimore is done for the season.

Would love to have Ekler back if its good for his long term health but if he can't its all good. Ultimately football is a kidz game we are lucky in this time of human largess we can enjoy sport games.

I hope not. If I was Vegas the point swing between Lattimore and that donkey Davis against Nacua/Kupp or Brown/Smith is at least a touchdown.

Regardless, this is house money and I’m all smiles.

We are so far ahead, we obviously want to win a playoff game but I can’t wait to watch JD5 in the postseason. Let’s freaking go, my heart sank after that Pitts TD but that overtime couldn’t have been better.

Obviously can't say enough good things about our boy JD5. What a special talent. But gotta give some props to Penix too, he looked rough at times but he was clutching up at the end there. Both guys will probably end up better than Caleb

Penix has the advantage of not having to overcome the Chicago Bears franchise, but CW Is so much more talented. You could see last night where Penix struggled and it was his pre-draft weakness. Working the middle/short part of the field. Lots of loose throws and inaccuracy with touch.

Congrats Skins fans!

Used to be a fan from about 77 when I was a kid until about '97 when basically stopped caring about football much and got into other stuff

Last 2 seasons have been watching again so I'm sure you diehards and OG's are loving it rn

Still have a personalized Theismann/team ball from 1985 with entire team's autographs on the shelf

Whitt is the first DC in an eternity who I've liked. I've listened to his interviews and watched how things evolved and how they actually adjust in game and I like his approach.
The pass defense is a little better, 7 ypa versus 7.7. Run defense is worse, 4.8 ypc versus 4.4. Some of the total yards decrease is due to the offense holding the ball/time of possession better than last year. Yes the D lacks talent but the talent is better than last season at LB and in the secondary, a wash on the d-line. I just feel like a seasoned and proven d-coordinator like Spagnuolo or Fangio would get more out of them. Maybe Whitt becomes that one day.

If Lattimore comes back the next couple seasons as the shut down corner of an upgraded defense, the trade is still worth it IMO.

I'm the last person to ever be a Debbie Downer, and I'm enjoying this magic as much as anyone. But, checking Tankathon to see where our rivals are drafting, I noticed, the Redskins have the worst strength of schedule in the league. They've improved a ton from the Dan /Ron nightmare, but next year they'll have a lot harder competition. They'll need a heck of an off season to keep improving.

Until then, house money baby. They're so much better than anyone thought, they are literally the darlings of the league. If they can snag the 6th seed, they can beat the Rams or Bucs. Hail to the Redskins!

That's the crazy thing: when they went for 1 to tie, I had complete confidence that we were going to go down the field and win it. I was actually surprised when we didn't win it there. I mean, the last 25 years had honed me into a lethal weapon of defeatism and in 15 weeks, JD had reversed that entirely.

And when we won the coin toss in OT, I felt like it was done.

Who am I?

Yeah, I was repeatedly saying, "Shut the **** up, Cris Collinsworth" last night as he was trying to elect Penix into Canton each time he completed a pass. He was as inaccurate -- missing by a lot -- as Caleb was when we played the Bears, but without the stress because our rushers couldn't get near him. I was actually relieved when he didn't hand it off because it meant it was probably going to be a miss.

He might turn out OK, but he didn't look like a budding superstar, despite CC's efforts to the contrary.

Lucky Falcons were on their backup kicker or else this place and narrative is vastly different

BUT winners find ways to win and JD willed it to fruition when he had the ball

Id rather be lucky then sad though

He hit OZ right in the chest on 3rd n long. He can't throw and catch it too. But of course he stayed cool and calm and won the game pretty much on his own the next time he got the ball. Legend!!!!
