At this point, with Hanifin and Forsling likely off the UFA market, I'm more intrigued by Chychrun

Our 1st, Jones, and Sykora is as far as I'd go for Buchnevich. Maybe add a 4th for retention so you can add an imposing 7D.

If that doesn't get it done, I'm looking at the Duke, Patches, etc...

And screw Guentzel for whatever that outrageous price is. 6+ week of him isn't worth the ask and, honestly, I'm not even sure how he fits with Zibs/Kreider.

Mackinnon and Rantanen can do it together. They've had Drouin and Lehkonen on their line this season. Even a guy called Pius Suter is making a living in the Canucks' top-6. But of course our 8.5M passenger and his best friend need a play driving winger. Hell he could even possibly tell that it's fine to move your feet even when your not on a 2-on-1.


The guy we just got has the same amount of 5vs5 points as Zibanejad. Expect he has 33% less giveaways and half the penalties. Both playing the "tough matchups".
