  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Because the problem with the Zibanejad line has not been the RW this year, it’s been Zibanejad and to a lesser extent Kreider. They’re constantly one and done in the offensive zone, and that has been the same the entire season. Enter the zone, shoot or turn over puck, give up.

PP2 plays so few minutes that Vatrano going there really doesn’t change much of anything.

So who would you suggest targeting?
 
This may be the only Trade Deadline where I'm hoping the Wenneberg trade is it. I just do not on any level want Buch or Vatrano back. And if those are the "pivot" plans, then pass, and let's hope for the best next month.

He did I’ll agree but I think most likely scenario is Colorado if he goes anywhere at some point

If Eberle is available and can be had, I think id be ok dangling a 1st for him with the idea of getting a Smith or Patches for the 3rd line.

If they could make something like that work/fit, thats a seriously deep forward lineup

If the ask is insane, i get it. But the hate on Frank Vatranno is insane. The guy has speed ( which this team lacks ) and has a rocket of a wrist shot. He'd slot in so well with Zib and Kreider. He would command more attention from the opposition just from those two attributes, that it would also open up time and space for Zib and Kreider. After seeing Guentzels return, i can't imagine he's gonna cost a ton. A little more bc of the 1 year left on his contract, but still.

If Guentzal only went bascially for a 2nd and some fodder - Ebrele, Vatrano ect are not getting a 1st in return. Maybe Buch would ? Hard to say
