Cost aside, If they have a shot at him he would be my number 1 target

Buch of course, especially since hes got term

Im warming to the idea of Patches or Toffoli, but the cost would be wildly different for those two

Vatrano and Zucker are the bottom of the list

This isn’t directed at you specifically but if anyone thinks that Crosby would be willing to come to the Rangers then you must be out yo damn mind and I’d like to have whatever it is you’re smoking.
Lafluer, Gretz, Mess, Jagr, Marcel Dionne, Lindos, etc all came here. Many of the best ever. It could be Sidney's destiny. I think Sid would love a chance to win a ring. If he thought he could do ot here he would enjoy the NY spotlight.

Interesting the Larry mentioned Chychrun. I would much rather they add him then anyone else and feel that would give us the strongest team going into the playoffs and perhaps be an even bigger move than any big named winger.

Is Patches any good anymore or is this gonna be Wheeler 2.0. Much rather go with someone young who still has legs and can maybe get hot like Frank did a few years ago (Duclair or someone similar now that he's off the board).

If costs come down, I like Eberle a lot.

I am beginning to think that adding another winger, to push Cuylle down and really increase the depth, may be a good idea. If Pacioretty costs something minimal, like a late round pick, I'd add him and someone else

I don’t see Vatrano coming to the Rangers. Verbeek wants a haul and he has preached about Vet support and Vatrano brings that.

He has another year on his contract and trading him now without getting a huge return will really send the wrong message.

This is why I think Kakko was the ask for the return who could at least fill a Top 6 role with Vatrano leaving. I don’t think futures only gets it done.

So Drury will likely pass.

Oooh.

So something like this?

Kreider-Mika-Eberle/Buch
Panarin-Trocheck-Laf
Pacioretty-Wennberg-Kakko
Cuylle-Goodrow-Vesey

Brodz, Edstrom

Thats a pretty strong forward lineup

I’m with you if the plan is to move Trouba this offseason.
Trouba only has 2 years left on his contract. Even if he plays it out, it's unlikely he is here beyond that. We need Schneider because we have absolutely no one behind him with top 4 upside. Scanlin is a lefty and has yet to play an NHL game. Mancini is our only RHD that looks like he might have a chance to play in the NHL.

We have our 1st round picks, but no 2nds and only 1 3rd. It's going to be difficult to rebuild our defensive prospect depth. Even on the left side, we don't have that much.

I don’t mind having Goodrow in the lineup for his PK abilities, but he should be a 4th line wing. He should not be a center on any line. He’s beyond bad at it at this point in his career.
I've been saying this since he arrived here. Goodrow. Is. Not. A. Center!! He's too slow to keep up.

Buch is the best option but I still don't want them to just throw assets at him, or anyone really. No forward acquisition improves the defense. Best move is none or one that brings a guy in for long term plans.
