Still need better talent than they have, plus gotta sign somebody decent

1OA works when there is a stud QB, not this year there ain't. Even the expert are saying that. That's why a WR is the top rated player.
Doesn't matter, a team like NYG absolutely would have traded up and give up even another 2nd.

They need as many top 100 picks as they can get at this point. Trading 1OA would've been a great start.

What do the Browns do? QB?

Curious what TEN does at 1OA. They have Levis who hasn't been great, but has flashed a bit. Do they roll the dice with Ward or Sanders? Giants should just trade back at this point if both of them are drafting QB
No QB. They’ll take one later in the draft. Ward and Sanders are risks even in the second round. I imagine they’ll toss that dart in the third(ish) round.

Trade down or take Abdul Carter. Ideally both, but that’s a little too ideal. My opinion.

Yeah, someone would have traded up for a QB. My guess is Ward at the moment, but we'll see.

It probably wouldn't have been a bonanza, but could have stockpiled some assets. Maybe the Raiders would have gotten desperate and offered a couple of Crosby, Bowers and Miller. Maybe not, and probably you'd have to throw some more in to get that done. But if I'm the Pats, I would have loved to find out.

It's not an overall great draft. They'll acquire depth, if they don't mismanage it AGAIN.
Free Agency will be way more important to this team. It's just not a good enough draft to be as big of a deal as you're making it. JMHO
If the DE from Penn St is there, you might want to take him if Barmore is toast with his health.

Who are your three?

I imagine you’ll likely get one of em as there will be some moronic team taking a QB in the top three. But you may just not have your pick.

I 100% wanted them to trade back, and you could do that for the two QBs and Hunter, hence "three player draft." I don't think you're getting much for the 4th unless someone above them gets stupid.

There has not been much talk about the position players for the draft aside from Hunter. No DE is talked about like the top ones the past few drafts or at WR (not counting Hunter) or OL like last years draft.

The DE on PS that missed the last 3/4s of the playoff is supposed to be a stud.
Seeing how the draft has played out in recent years, picking top 10 is a crap shoot for anything other than hoping for a top end starter and maybe a star. Plenty of busts every year, and plenty of unknowns that just translate into a better Pro. Coaching matters as well and here NEP fails big time.

Tetairoa McMillan best receiver in college. OL's available in this draft better than anyone on this roster now. No off-ramp at current location.

Oh I see. That makes sense.

I could see Ward slipping (realistically both QBs should be), but it certainly wouldn’t yield you the trade haul that the #1 would.

I still think that the player the Pats get at 4 will be a very good player. Like, there’s a shot that Hunter will be there if you’re into that kinda thing.

Ward and Sanders will both be off the board by the 20th pick.

Your analysis is spot on. Neither guy is a first round talent (doubly so for Sanders) but like that's stopped GMs before.

Tennessee has the #1 pick and the choice between either willingly subjecting themselves to Will Levis again or taking one of these two. Cleveland will be needing ANYTHING to distract from the 250 million dollar paperweight they have on their bench and the fact you need something to convince Myles Garrett to stick around. The top 10 still has the Giants, Saints, Jets and Raiders all needing some type of plan at QB.

They actually did it.

Feel bad for Mayo a little, but it was clear he wasn't even close to ready for this and might never be. The defense becoming trash as soon as Belichick left can't be blamed on anyone else though and that was supposed to be the teams strength. Is it Vrabel or are they going to actually go on a coaching hunt
