If chib was a right handed shot he'd probably fit perfectly on the Nino + Lowry line
I really like the idea of putting a skilled RW on Lowry's line. That's how the Canes deploy with Jordan Staal (often have Jarvis at RW). I actually think that might be a good position for either Ehlers or Vilardi. Among prospects, Lambert might actually fit well, too.

If Chibrikov could play good defensive hockey he'd already be in the NHL...AJF, Toninato those were the guys that got called up last year in important games.

It's been the Lowry-Appleton line since 2021 (minus the XD trial in Seattle), unless Apples gets injured. I think the speed aspect is important as a counterbalance to Lowry's size...And the defensive awareness...Nino may not play on this line going forward...but after last season Appleton seems safe, for now.

I believe it was Nino-Gus-Chibrikov as a line though, and that one makes some sense as a 4th line that has balance.

I think the Russian's best hope is 4th line this year. With some PP time.

But I expect that he may not be the 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd callup this year.
