Can't wait for hockey season...
Seeing who makes strides, who struggles, who gets to represent their country internationally.
Daniel Torgersson has to be by far the biggest fall off this board. I have a sneaky suspicion he'll bounce back. There's a lot of details to his game to like.
Nikkanen might start the year as the #1 PK centre on the Moose, and that's a good way to get a callup, considering how Arniel has earned a rep as a good special teams coach defensively.
Loponen coming across the pond to play in North America might help him with the transition to smaller ice. Seems like he has a decent chance to play for Finland in the World Juniors.
Nehring as a 3rd round pick got passed over by a lot of players drafted in later rounds on these boards. Jets scouts must have seen something there, in his USHL time. Going to Western Michigan this season as opposed to a bigger college does give him some Nathan Smith vibes. Could be a slow cooker.
Garret Brown didn't play much on a championship University of Denver squad. Might get some more action this year, which would help for his growth.
I don't think a lot of people had Dimitri Kuzmin starting in the ECHL last year. With Heinola graduating, Sauntner on an A contract now, he's literally the only LD in the Jets system, available for callup, unless Fleury gets demoted, but I suspect he won't for that exact reason. So he has a chance to grow this year, or there could be some changes in prospects over the course of the season.
Excellent job
