If you count the average his defensive game is rated 3.7 / 10

In the end charts don't matter obviously but this does highlight how wrong they can be. It doesn't matter how good your measurements are if you are measuring the wrong thing. Average rating of 3.7 makes me think of some B prospect out of juniors.

I hope Ovi doesn't break it.

Crosby will still be nominated for awards even when he is retired. The never ending grace period.

Speaking as a fan of Ovechkin, his decision to hang around just to try to break the goals record as a shell of a player sitting in the dot on the power play is fairly pathetic.

One of the all time greats, and I always loved that he played hard and physical and didn't complain when other guys did the same to him. But this is just silly. Guy is a beer leaguer with a great shot at this point.
