9Damn we have a lot of draft capital to add to our huge prospect pool
10 picks in this draft
Could use one of the later picks plus one of the 2nds to move up in the 2nd round if there is a player on the board they an enamored by.I love love love love the value that we extracted from San Jose. Get pick 42 to slide down 3 spots in a draft where there's a bunch of 15ish prospects all rated similarly? Love it.
Now......let's see Adams do some moving of either picks, prospects or both to help the NHL roster.
'Cuz if we just traded down before the draft to get an extra 2nd, I don't see the point.
50/50 at best, IMO. He's always screamed "Detroit" to me.Any chance Helenius slips to 14 now ?
The last 2 years that sumbitch Yzerman drafted the kid I wanted, Kasper and then Danielson50/50 at best, IMO. He's always screamed "Detroit" to me.
I was thinking they trade 14, then use the 2nds to move back into the 1st for Surin ?Is 14 too high for Surin?
I love Surin, he'd be ranked much higher if he was bigger. You have to question how he'll hold up at 6'1 200 with the game he playsYes.
Hard to get excited about much of what’s depicted there. Trade the pick and some other stuff for Ehlers/McGroarty.Buffalo Sabres Draft Guide: 1st Round picks (Pick 14)
The Buffalo Sabres moved back in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft and now hold the 14th pick so let's look at some options for that spot.www.expectedbuffalo.com
Jiricek is a big roll of the dice as he missed most of the year after blowing out his knee. Luchanko is OK, he's not very exciting at 14, mid 20s sureMBN, Chernyshov, Solberg and Hage in mix for me.
What about Jiricek and Luchanko? I don't know much about them, would they be a good choice?
So, overall, Jiricek would be a good choice?Jiricek is a big roll of the dice as he missed most of the year after blowing out his knee. Luchanko is OK, he's not very exciting at 14, mid 20s sure
It all depends on his medical records. Before the season he was looked at as a top 10 pick, thought to be on par with the other too DSo, overall, Jiricek would be a good choice?
He himself said that his older brother has a better shot and is a more offensive defenseman. Adam skates better and is a more two-way defenseman than David.
