Not sure if I'll be at home at the start of the draft so I'll just make this trade live now. Here are the Oilers draft picks leading into the draft:

5th Round 160th OA
6th Round 183rd OA (From Nashville)
6th Round 192nd OA
7th Round 196th OA (From Anaheim)
7th Round 218th OA (From Boston via Utah)

Basically our draft starts with the second to last pick of the 2nd round and then nothing until the 5th round.

Seen some highlights of Gojsic from Kelowna, looks like decent size, skill and an NHL wrister. Could be an ok bet with our 2nd.

We have/had like one Russian scout lol. And we do listen to him, we made picks off his advice just last year.

True. I’d hope even for later picks we take more input than just one dude too.

I didn't like Pracey's track record back when he was with TB, it's pretty mediocre but let's see. He apparently has a focus on the OHL, which I guess they thought we needed.

Frankly was more intrigued by the Kalle Larsson hire, who seemed to emphasized speed, smarts and compete. Let's see if that philosophy filters down to the drafting approach we take.
