I still don't get all the "experts" who picked the Mavs. BOS was an absolute nightmare matchup for them since everyone in their top 6 rotation can shoot and play D. Can't hide Luka defensively.

Celtics have this such in the bag that they might have a background thought in their heads to go it easy in game four and go for a gentleman’s sweep at home.

This series has been over for some time now. One of the least competitive finals in recent memory.

lmao Windhorst absolutely burying Doncic. Very self-serving but just blowtorched this guy. Van Pelt had no idea on how to react.
That was such bullshit. You have a legit generational talent in Doncic, but you think his team is going to lose because he's not good on defense? You actually think he's the problem? Pure idiocy. That's a classic contemporary sports hot take. You take a player like Luka, whatever his flaws are, 10 times out of 10. You know who else isn't so great on defense? Jokic. Big freaking deal.

(But yeah, it wouldn't hurt for either of them to get in better shape.)

Off the top of my head, only the 2016 Cavs and 1995 Rockets managed to beat their NBAF opponents that won 10 or more games than them in the regular season. This year had a 14-game difference between the two finalists.

As time goes by I am becoming more convinced that Boston might have won the Championship in 2008 despite Doc Rivers being their HC and not because he was their HC.

Look no further than his playoff record since 2010. In 14 years hes made it to conference finals once, and that was back in 2012.

Let's go Celtics! I was at the 2008 parade, went right by my work back then. Time for another one
