I would say Guite is a bigger omission than Morin. Guite was much better between the two last season. Like not even in the same stratosphere. And very good for Canada at every tournament he's played at.

He's had an injury and had a cold streak for a few weeks, and all of a sudden left off the roster. He's better than half the guys picked there, at least. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

This CHL group is so strong, I can't see how the NTDP can compete against these guys. It has everything: size, skills, speed, grit, character.

This might help a player like Murtagh to shine if he can compete and win puck battles against Spence, Bear, Cootes, Aitcheson...

The NTDP regularly punches above their weight against more talented international rosters because they have spent so much time centralised, whereas, although I would say the talent on paper is a fair bit better, this CHL team is a bunch of strangers playing with each other or if they have played together only for a week or so at a time

Just grabbed tickets for the game in Oshawa. Surprisingly very reasonable prices!
