Don't know why we need to waste more picks on goalies when we already have like 3 young goalies who are either playing in the NHL or could be soon.
Fair point but you know how it is with goalies. Can't have enough of them.

You realize how long goalies take to develop right?
If Woll or Hildeby are the real deal then you won't be needing to look for a goalie for a long while hopefully. If Akhtiamov also develops into becoming a good goalie then you have a log jam where someone has to go. And then there's Peksa who so far doesn't look like much and then now this guy. Way too many goalies for no good reason.

Would rather spend our picks on a forward or defenseman who have a better chance of developing into something and playing for the Leafs someday.

Gotta draft a goalie once a year, pretty good stockpile of them in the system at the moment.
We have way too many already.

By the time this player could be NHL ready Woll will be in his 30's.

You're lucky if one in five develop into something.
Well so far Woll is looking pretty decent and could be the starter if he can stay healthy and Hildeby looks fairly good behind him. Akhtiamov looks promising too. How many more do you need?
