Eric Daze still had 8 years of dominant hockey. Four 30 goals seasons in 8 years right in the dead puck is pretty good.

His game changed when he took skating lessons after he hit the NHL, his career was cut short after his back injuries which occurred later on.

Yep and to Lemieux.

Full healthy until 23 years old with 199 points in 76 games. In 88-89

His last season healthy..then he missed a year with his back surgery and he had this problem for all his career ..

..but this martian manage to put incredible numbers nonetheless in the 90s
Makes one wonder what could have been with Mario.

I agree that Rotenberg is a clown and the KHL is a corrupt and poorly run league but the worst thing for Demidov would be learning nothing and dominating a weak junior league as opposed to learning from the best players in Russia both in game and during practice.
I thought Kent Hughes was supposed to fly to Russia to personally 'handle' the Ivan Demidov situation?

Or was Rotenberg just not happy with the size of the brown envelop he got handed? My feeling is that he is trying to cash in on the situation, and he is not happy about it so far.

Is Rotenberg not an oligarch part of Team Putin? Coaching SKA is his hobby, doubt he cares too much about relatively small sums of money. Looks like he is in it for prestige, legacy and ego reasons basically and feels personally slighted that his prospects are leaving.

Ya i read that somewhere too, is there any chance they can negociate something so Demidov could come here this season, if they're not using him what's the point of keeping him there they will lose him next season anyway.

I think that Hutson will be more impactful than Demidov. What do you think ?

too early to say, I won't bet against either one but I think both are the best assets we have, so rank them either way. The question for me is can Demidov develop as a center at some point (once he gets stronger, adds some more mass).

With Hutson we have no PP QB and I have said I don't think anyone on the Habs can be at their very best if we don't find a Markov like replacement. So Hutson could have a bigger impact then Demidov if one ends up the next Adam Fox and the other a 1st line winger. But for now we'll just have to see what happens next 2-3 years.

Being a winger is not an issue. Kucherov, Ovechkin, Panarin and many others are impactful from their positions.

I put together his highlights from this season,

Thanks man!!

I don't see any flaw on his game at least offensively.

Speed
Edge
Vision
Iq
Shot
Hands

All that at elite level..even his speed of what I though was average before......not at all...elite speed.

He is able to make his passes at elite level on his backhand as well.

he needs to work on his first step quickness, add strength and some mass.

At this point, I will prefer for Kent to negotiate a trade for Demidov. Let him play in a weaker KHL team for 20 mins+ every night.
