23points in 54 at the KHL level as a 17/18 year old last year. Was rated as a late first by most publications so a bit of a good value pick to get him at #50.

My understanding is that Samsonov’s contract as a development coach expired in 2023. Did he get hired as a scout after that? I don’t see him on the team directory.
