Injury Report: 2024-25 Sharks/Barracuda health: Mukhamadullin shoulder surgery should be ready for camp

Dang. Hopefully no shoulder surgery. Looks like had shoulder surgery once in 2021. Missed end of last year with upper body injury. Start of season with lower body injury. Really needs an offseason where he can prepare and bulk up properly. Hopefully doesn't set him back too much. :-(

I hope so too and it may make an impact on how Grier sees next year's opening night lineup. He only got 30 games in but he looked pretty good in probably 20 of them? Tough to nail down how you want to make your lineup look with that being a reasonably important part of it moving forward.

Is it still true that since Parros took over DoPS no player has received a suspension for a hit against a Shark? I'm still salty about the 2019 WCF

I have no idea how hitting a player after the whistle behind the back into the boards with clear intent to injure doesn't even garner a hearing.
Having former goons/players who played on the edge as heads of DoPS has only been a disaster for player safety

He is so thin. I don't know if that is an NHL frame he has.
I feel the same way. Some of the hits I've seen him take he still gets ragdolled. He really needs to get in the gym and find a bit more of a mean streak. He avoids contact alot and it's frankly part of the game. I'm afraid that with his injury history and his age we might have seen his best. I hope I'm wrong, he was just beginning to shine.
