Embarrassing PP, but Meyers getting injured screwed up the flow. Kopi has been absolutely atrocious, I thought he'd benefit from the rest but he looks way off. They really miss Drew on the back end, Clarke looks like he has zero confidence thanks to his limited minutes. I always expect us to lose with Rittich in net.

Nah, Clarke let him move in at least 6 feet more than he should have. Just a lazy, lazy read.

Its been awhile since I've seen him get lit up like he did by Forbort in OT. He's a lot slower and more lumbering, that's probably why.

At this point let's just move Clarke and a 1st for Rakell and Toffoli and get it over with. It's just easier to accept that these kids aren't going to make it here and move on from it.

PP lost this game again. 4 on 3, 1 shot, all passes Nobody willing to go to the net or shoot it from the point. And that was boarding on Kopitar on the pp, but the rules are different in OT I guess.

Enough of big sieve Dave. He hasn't had a good game in 2 months. A defensive-centric team like the Kings and numbers like that. He's a fraud, always has been. Copley or Portillo even, can handle 1 game a week from here on out

It's hard to believe but the entire season is riding on Kuemper. Not Byfield. Not Fiala. Not Kopitar but Darcy Kuemper.

Do the Kings coaches and management know they can use their players best strengths/assets?

Like I get that Clarke struggles on the defensive side but he is a monster on the PP though all leagues. Yet, the Kings don't use him there.

Turcotte has amazing vision/hockey IQ to set people up to score but he can't play on the PP because Danault and Moore are there?

Thing about Brandt is he should have worked on his strength(upper body and Legs especially) not sure about him he's not going to be the heir apparent as Blake envisioned

And that's the problem with this leadership. It's just a regular season game that only matters little. Kopitar is a "lover" not a "fighter" amd the team takes after him. He should have let Byfield do what he was doing so in the future other teams know that the Kings won't be a pushover.
