The statement 3rd period against Vegas won't mean nearly as much if they don't impose their will against a 'Nucks team on shaky footing, especially if Hughes isn't in the lineup.

I'm hoping for a big game from Turcotte. With Kempe will be moving to Byfield's line periodically we need Turc - Kopitar - Laferriere to become a bargain bin version of Smyth - Kopitar - Brown or Williams - Kopitar - Brown.

Vancouver has fallen out of a playoff spot. They're 1 point behind Calgary.

They need this, but they've looked like crap lately.

Maybe, but they have a better record than the Kings in the last ten, so

Hope they don't get taken lightly. Van fighting for their lives, Kings 'in between big games' makes it easy to overlook a reeling opponent, I hope they don't blow it

They've only scored 1 regulation goal in each of their last 4 games.

Everything is pointing to a King victory tonight. Which is exactly why I'm worried.

Their top 3 scorers are:
Hughes (out)
Miller (traded)
Boeser (2g in the last 10 games)
Pettersen (1g in last 20 games)

You wonder if Hiller is just going to stand pat w PP1 personnel given its been 29th pretty much the whole season... (whisper) Jim you were onto something in the last game

Pretty sure the personnel was the same last game.....as far as PP1
Ya it was. I was hoping he would swap 55 and 11 on the PP units.. after the success of 22-55-9 5x5 - keeping that trio together. Somehting needs to be tried on PP1 soon to get it firing before the post-season.
