Pens have wins against some good teams recently. Florida and Toronto. They also blew out Montreal 9-2. They seem kind of random. Their record is 3-2-1 this month.

Lizotte has been good.

Most rational people would chalk it up to the coach you were defending with your life getting fired…

Do we think Turc continues to get a chance on the top line once Moore comes back? He’s looked good, feel like he created more than Moore did in that slot.
He should. Eye test and analytics show he belongs. Moments like this determine how I view the potential of a coach.

He 100% should get an extended look regardless of Moore's status.

However, I don't have a ton of faith in this coaching staff playing Turcotte over a healthy Moore (don't really fault them for that, it's just a bit short-sighted IMO) so I'm PRAYING Turcotte continues to play amazingly while Moore's out so he forces them to keep him up there.

I'm still holding on to my theory that Turcotte is on a snap count.
When you see any post-game shot or interview with Turcotte you can clearly see that his right shoulder is heavily bandaged underneath his shirt.

Turcotte appears to be suffering from Parse-itis: NHL skill and brain, geek squad physique.

I would bet that shoulder problems are his potential undoing before concussions.

Forgot how much of a f***er Malkin is.

Every time the Kings play the Pens it makes me think of that perfect camera shot of Malkin throwing the flying burrito elbow into the rookie Simmonds face while Dustin Brown choose to throw his arms up to the ref as the game ended instead of skating 8 feet and going after Malkin.

That was the moment that saw Lombardi barrel down into the room and berate his captain.

Rookie party night before last. Hopefully the boys are up for this game today.

Wasn’t a big fan of the new Jersey’s, but got this one today and I have changed my mind. I actually really like these in person.
