Makes about as much sense as Staal finishing #2 in voting despite being a -14 +/-.
MacK getting a vote is also pretty laughable.
Kuemper been solid the last few. Without him they aren't getting points.

Kings haven't won 6 games in a row since Oct/Nov of 2021. But that involved 3 OT/SO wins.
King's current 6 game win streak is all regulation wins. That's pretty hard to do in the modern NHL. No idea when the last time LA achieved that was.

I THINK the last time LA won 6 straight regulation games was in February of 2015.
They had 8 straight regulation wins, including the game at Levi Stadium against SJ. Quick started all 8 games.

I haven't seen tonight's game yet, but Edmundson was the best player on the ice in the Minnesota game and has been rock solid for weeks.

That's the version of Fiala I want to see out there. He seemed to be pretty pleased with his game in the post interview, let's see if he sticks with it. Byfield is just beyond snakebitten, hope he can somehow snap out of it. The guy's on NHL Tonight were raving about our D core and how we're #1 in a bunch of D metrics this year, even without Doughty.
Sorokin was really good for the Isles, game could've easily been 5-1, though they are missing Barzal and Peloch. They looked really f***ing bad at times, especially their PP.

Good game. Fiala is starting to make some good defensive plays. Just a few. Hopefully he can keep improving. Byfield is starting to heat up the last few games. Pucks not going in for him yet, but it's heading in the right direction. Jeannot gets props for burying that turd. Good job. Wouldn't have cared if they called a boarding.
Burroughs? Why is this still a thing? Drops his gloves, gets a penalty & doesn't throw a punch? Don't give the turd an option. Followed that up missing an easy pass in the D zone that ended with a good NYI shot on net a few seconds later.

I disagree a little my Trevor Lewis loving friend....
I think because of that play, they didn't retry much else the rest of the game.
His presence and Jeannot's presence helped keep Anders Knee in line , because they knew there would be consequences

Then cross check him on the skate back to the benches.

Goodness did not realize the season is already 28 freakin games in. That went by way too fast. Looking at the stats, Quinton Byfield our future number one Center has 3, 3 f**king goals on the year. Kopi, Kempe, Laf and Fiala better not slow down because we are in a whole world of poop.
