Entirely my opinion but I thought it was a terrible match before they were tried together and it's my opinion having seen them together.

I mean he has tried every other combination in the regular season except for them, and they didn't work either.

Fair option...althought I think moving Mrazek makes more sense since he is older and would get more in return.

I doubt it, goalies don't get anything in return, unless they are young with lots of potential or are among the elite.

Thats why I said as part of a package. No one is trading a good young player for a goalie who has had 6 good games in his career. But if you offer Torontos 1st, + for a good young player, and that team wants that plus to be Soda, you drive him to the airport.

Line changes shouldn't be a daily experience especially for kid

You go blender in game ala Q or for a game or two = Fine, that is how things go in NHL

But chemistry is a real thing that needs to be developed and not allowing guys to play together for large stretches is dumb. As is handicapping your best player with slugs

Roster isn't good but Richardson goes out of way to utilize it in worst ways

Honestly wonder if they would be open to Del Mastro for Jiricek

We are heavy on LD prospects and it never hurts to have more RD prospects. Jiricek can cook a little in Rockford until we trade Murphy at deadline and then come up to finish year

We are heavy on LD prospects and it never hurts to have more RD prospects. Jiricek can cook a little in Rockford until we trade Murphy at deadline and then come up to finish year

Really not what this team needs right now if the reason he’s demanded to be traded is to play in NHL.

I sorta get some of his issues with team though from last year

Team tells him to get place in city and that he will be playing in Columbus, and he was doing fairly well last year then got blindsided and sent down to AHL again (Cleveland)

Also, he has had 3 different coaches in 3 years in Columbus and now has new GM who didn't draft him and his name has been out there in rumors all summer since new regime took over

Too much baggage, he’s soft, and can’t skate.

He wouldn’t be jumping onto NHL roster and Korchinski last game I think was playing right side.

How happy do you think he’s going to be playing 3rd pairing minutes in Rockford?

Fit just doesn’t make sense. Would also be a terrible look to trade for him and gift him an NHL spot over young guys who have been battling it out for that spot.

I’m with you there, just don’t think this is the move.

Rather them make a trade for Frost who could realistically jump immediately into top 6 and be a legit C.

That’s not saying he’s a good top 6 C, but it’s a hell of a lot better than anything we have currently.

And if it doesn’t workout then let him walk at the end of the year and no long term pain from the move not working out.

Yeah obviously I don't want to see anything happen just for the sake of it... but the vibes are bad.

The roster is ass, the coaching is even more ass, and the front office is literally doing nothing.

It'd be nice to see a bit of urgency or proactiveness.
