Habs very own Makar (Khanin) is back playing for Dynamo Moscow today in the MHL. They're getting spanked 6-0 by Loko.

Jeez I’m sure he’s had better games but man he’s insane.

I can’t remember who said it on here but they had a great quote. Paraphrased it was: “Demidov doesn’t turn on a dime, he has a turning radius of zero”.

It’s just wild. He’s gonna be an enormous piece.

Pretty disappointing season for Eriksson. I thought the Habs might have found something there, with missing so much of his draft year with an injury.

Big dude that needs to work on skating.

They're hoping for a Brian Boyle type (and Merrill has been training with him).

We'll see how he progresses over the next 5 years.

I didn't know enough about him to say that he is underwhelming. Only thing I know is that Billy Ryan vouched for him at the scout meetings and said he was training with Brian Boyle and that Ryan sees a Boyle-type player in him. It'll be a while before we really see if he's anything for the Habs. He's going to Harvard next year. And he'll most likely need 3 years there before we see if he's someone we see something in.

How long did it take for McCarron to be an NHLer? If Merrill becomes one, it’ll probably take at least as long as him.
