I hate "the 80s" being used to denigrate Gretzky's numbers, it was a much higher scoring environment yet NO ONE came close to his totals over that time frame

Anaheim just lost in OT because Tuch absolutely bowled over Zellweger and ended up on a breakaway. That's the sort of risk you take having someone like him, Hutson, or Cagnoni out in OT like that, I guess.

In the first NHL showdown between Michkov and Bedard, Matvei takes the lead with an OT goal. Still, comparing what it was like 19 years ago when both Ovy and Crosby came into the league, Michkov and Bedard are kind of disappointing.
