Laval Rocket: Laval Rocket at Utica Comets 7:00 pm

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Tried to post a GDT but kept getting a server error. I'll just use this thread for tonight's game.

No Reinbacher again.
Primeau in net.

Utica got off to a 6-1 lead in shots in first 4 minutes, but then took a dumb penalty.

Laval was all over them on PP. Farrell put home a backhand off a rebound of a Dauphin shot. Poulter made a fantastic save on Dauphin, though.

1-0 Laval early 1st.

1-0 Laval after 1. Dauphin with a terrific chance late off a beauty feed from Farrell but Poulter makes a good save.

Utica has been aggressive going to the slot & Laval's D has been collapsing down. Primeau has been solid.

Utica is apparently 8-0-1-1 in last 10 at home.

Also, Dauphin & Beck have finally gotten their assists for the Farrell goal. They initially listed it as unassisted.

PP Laval. That was a definite trip. It could have been interference, too. Millman is arguing anyway. Lol

First unit was complete shit. They couldn't even setup. 2nd unit, Hoefenmeyer had an open opportunity and missed the net. Mesar passed instead of shot on another play. Nice pass, though.

Dauphin scores! 3-0. I think that pixel was Farrell getting him the puck. Lol

Yeah, Farrell picks up the primary assist. It all started with a point shot from Mailloux. Farrell gets the rebound & shuffles it to Dauphin who puts it in.

1g, 1a for Farrell.

Utica PP now.

They score quickly, but ref's waving it off for a highstick.

I assume Utica will challenge. It's close.

Nope. No challenge. No goal. Still 3-0. Utica on PP still.

Yeesh, Halonen splits Trudeau & Mailloux and dances around Primeau for a goal. PPG. 3-1.

I just looked at the line-up and Hoefenmayer and Mesar are already back in the line-up. I thought they were both out for a while. If I remember correctly, wasn't Mesar supposed to be out like 6 weeks?

Yeah, it was a surprise to see Mesar back. He was actually back last game. Hoefenmeyer has been 'close' for a couple of weeks now. He played last game.

Florian might be the next one to get a few games with the big team . He certainly deserves it.

BPM sports made a segment recently with Pierre Dorion concerning the Rocket.

He said that for him, Beck, Reinbacher, Dobes and Florian are 4 guys that will play in the NHL. Mailloux, Engstrom, Roy, Tuch maybe.

Said that OTT planned to draft Florian but Habs beat them to it.
