The Eberle news suck and it's even "at least three months" according to the news by the team.
I am starting to think that spending some time in Coachella to get his mojo back may be the best move forward. He gets to play with some talented wingers like Sale, Firkus, which could help with that.
It's a bummer to see him not being able to produce after the way he finished off last season on the Kraken
Well, like I've said before.
If this team's anywhere near the playoff picture I wouldn't be surprised if they kept him.
And if you do that, you probably want to extend him to not lose him for nothing.
Though, it doesn't really make any sense given his age, dip in productaion and, like you've said, with all those forwards getting closer to the NHL down in CV.
But given how this team has operated and what Francis has said(make the playoffs every year) I'm not that surprised cause the plan seems to be to be "competitive" ending up as a playoff bubble team(unless some crazy trade happens or a prospect or two goes through the roof) for the foreseable future.
I’m a big part of here’s doom and gloom, in fact!
Any chance RF is on the phone with Carolina about Grubauer?
Sure.
It's just that the other side has a pretty good laugh about it.
Especially the Canes, who're not throwing out money on anything especially goaltending.
On top of that Gru's injury prone himself and they don't need more goalies like that.
What stuff about Gourde? I don’t see anything in the real news. Trade rumors? Discontent? Low ball offer from club?
Elliotte Friedman has said that the team probably wants to keep and re-sign him.
After the Bruins failed to show consistent "pushback" it was time to make a change behind the bench. Plus, where the salary cap could go next, thoughts on the trade market, and more in this week's notes.
