I'd see how the defense works for a little while, but having to rely on all 3 of Raddysh, Perbix, and Lilleberg every game isn't ideal. I guess if the team.continues to do well while Moser is out, then perhaps JBB doesn't add, but if the defense starts to falter, they shouldn't wait the whole 2 months without trying g to improve the defense (which should likely get an add anyway before the deadline, even with Moser).

I’m not worried about the next 8-10 weeks, I’m worried about any lingering issues Moser has when he gets back.

Plenty of time to shake off rust, but we need specifics to determine if he’s going to be back to full speed the rest of the year

at least it's not the season, but what kind of injury could this be?

My guess is a grade 2 quad muscle strain or a quad tendon sprain.

Healing Time for Grade 2 Strained Quad:

If the quad muscle strain is of grade 2, it would mean that there is partial tearing of the muscle. In this case, usually the signs and symptoms take a few months for complete healing. Also, the person may require visiting the rehabilitation centre for the healing process. Within about 8 to 10 weeks, moderate to mild pulled quad muscles are treated completely.

Ummmm........

So, Guentzel back in lineup this Thursday?

Any signs either way??

Whether the Lightning will have top-line forward Jake Guentzel available when they resume play Thursday in San Jose remains to be seen. But Guentzel did return to practice Tuesday wearing a red no-contact jersey after missing the team’s last game Sunday against Montreal with an upper-body injury.
Despite wearing a red jersey Tuesday, Guentzel was a full participant in practice, skating with Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov on line rushes.

Guentzel will make the upcoming road trip — the team flies out Wednesday morning and practices in San Jose later in the day. Cooper was cautiously optimistic about him playing Thursday, which will be the beginning of a three-game, four-day stretch in California that includes a back-to-back against the Kings and Ducks.

“The game’s not for a couple more days,” Cooper said. “There’s been improvements since a couple games ago, so hopefully that continues and see what happens.”
