the team is off for 2 weeks so we might not hear anything for a bit.
I don’t know if there is a thread about that but we already have seen the effect of that new rule. 3-4 players U18 who where playing USHL/BCHL have signed with a QMJHL team in the past 2 days like Enzo Lottin in Victoriaville who was their 1st pick (7oa) in the last draftThe CHL will end up with many players who play up through their D+1 as it is common for good prospects to play another year in the USHL and/or in other Canadian junior leagues. This will be even more prominent now as the CHL is a much better league than the USHL and other Canadian junior leagues where the players will be much more likely to play their 19 year old season before heading to the NCAA. They will also retain many of the top players that they have always retained who are not interested in the NCAA.
The CHL has been pushing for this as well and are on the record as being very happy with the decision.
I see a similarity in Hage’s skating and style of play to a young Alex Mogilny. Let’s hope I’m correct.. It was posed as a question
So he’s nothing like bennett
Who is he like?
Wow loved mogilnyI see a similarity in Hage’s skating and style of play to a young Alex Mogilny. Let’s hope I’m correct.
This video is showing how to get out of your zone and in the opponent’s zone effectivelyHe is insane man !
He scored the winning goal but it wasn’t in OT!Scored OT winner as well. Just saw it was posted in prospects thread, my bad.
That outside inside move through the middle is smooth. Demidov-esque
Very Mogilny-like. When this kid gets a bit stronger he will be near unstoppable off the rush.Really nice. Bold, smooth, powerful.
With very little to work with offensively, not that Caufield’s team was great either but he did have Turcotte who was highly touted at the time.Hage is on pace of having as good a D+1 Div1 freshman season as Caufield did.

Hage is on an island so to speak.
Hage at 21 seems every bit as wild as Demidov at 5.That outside inside move through the middle is smooth. Demidov-esque
I think the Habs really got a steal in Hage, for a guy ranked between 15-25 he is incredibly skilled. You really notice him everytime he is on the ice and he has a way better hockey IQ than I thought. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up top 10 in a redraft in 4-5 years
Id be thrilled if he was exactly like mogilny, and give kudos to chester.Wow loved mogilny
Would be thrilled if he was half the player
