I saw Mitts play last season after getting here. I saw Mitts play earlier in the season when he had nothing but scrubs. He was awseome all along.
There is definitely something wrong right now, but I'm willing to see if he and Bednar can figure it out before throwing good away recklessly.

Why? He's 26, he's no going to get better in a few years. Also his contract is only for 2 more seasons and chances are he's gone after that.

I mean i kinda see it being like Kadri. When we got Naz, we won the cup in his 3rd year with us. Mitts is signed for 3 years, I see us winning the cup in 2 years and Mitts playing a big role. I don’t see that happening this year, but with Crosby we could win it this year
People here were shitting all over Kadri in year two as well.

I bet Mitts is going through a minor injury. Playing through a nagging one is hard and to me Casey has looked exactly like it. He has already shown (beginning of season and Jets series) he can be a truly awesome 2C for us and he'll come through this slump and shine.
