Big center, lots of skill, I haven't really seen him enough to gauge his skating ability but I'm told it isn't a strength of his. Regardless, he managed to cross 40 points his first two years in the league on an absolutely atrocious Anaheim team, but he's been dealing with some pretty persistent injury issues of late. I don't know if the elite playmaker they wanted with the third overall pick is still there but he should still be good at the very least. It's just so hard to tell with the Ducks, they just don't seem to want anyone with skill to succeed unless they play like Getzlaf and Perry did back in the day.I don't really get the appeal of McTavish to be honest.
