Yep. Even if it was by accident, Bergevin’s Habs won 7 playoff series, which is 7 more than Blake will ever win as an NHL GM. If the front office is going to be stupid anyway I’m taking the idiot who has accomplished literally anything at least once.

I don't think you understand how bad you have to be at your job, for the Canadiens, a month into a season following an appearance in the finals, and Bergevin being a finalist for GM of the year to be fired and for almost everyone to go, "yeah, that makes sense" like what happened to Bergevin.

"Well Kings fans, the season was over before it even began after the exhibition game against VGK on Sept 25. Fortunately, the patient Kings ownership have once again decided everyone gets another chance on account of all the early season injuries suffered"
