TB draft pick rightBC scored 2 empty net goals (both Ryan Leonard) and Gabe got an assist on the 2nd one, giving him 3 assists for the game.
He's up to 31 points in 22 games. He's still a bit below his pts/game average from last year, but he has 7 points in his last 3 games.
Isaac Howard also scored 3 points tonight, leading the nation with 39 points in 25 games. Gabe will be hard-pressed to catch him at this point.
Yeah, a year older than Gabe.TB draft pick right

Oof, BIG whiff by Gabe and Stiga on the 2 on 0
Laba had an assist on the only CC goal. I think he went back this year hoping to do some damage but CC kind of sucks.
Henricks, Larsson, Kempf, and Karpa were all scoreless.
Lamb was also scoreless. I haven't watched him recently to see what going on but his production has dried up. He's been several games without a point now.
I think they dropped Lamb down a line for a bunch of games. It seemed like he was with Snuggerud at least most of the season. The reason for that? I don't know. Maybe trying to spread out the scoring. If that was a goal though it didn't work.
On Snuggerud, does he want to play in St.Louis? Shocked he did not sign this past summer. What is the story with him? Is he like Gauthier, Hayes, Vesey and others that does not want to play on the team that drafted him? Would he be available? Fills a need at RW. Teammate of Perreault at USA camps. i hope Lamb gets signed this summer. I wonder how his game will translate to the AHL. Not that familiar with Lamb. Top 6 or bust type?
With Snuggerud, I think part of it is because he had a "down" year as a sophomore.I would assume he wants to play for the Blues. He's from Minnesota or the midwest and playing for Minnesota U. which is in Minneapolis and St. Louis is a midwestern city.
But really I don't know any stories about him. Lots of college players stick around because they like campus life. Not everyone is all fired up to go out into the world to work for someone they might even end up not liking....maybe he's really really interested in what he's degreeing in. Maybe he's sticking it out for that elusive college championship. Lots do. Lamb is a junior at Minnesota U too. Maybe he's thinking of another destination than the Rangers.....or even Laba. Laba's a Detroit area kid. Maybe he'd really prefer to be a Red Wing. These things can just as easily work against us.
yeah but you're frequently shockedOn Snuggerud, does he want to play in St.Louis? Shocked he did not sign this past summer...
With Snuggerud, I think part of it is because he had a "down" year as a sophomore.
When he was a freshman, Minnesota had Logan Cooley and Matthew Knies on the team. Snuggerud put up 50 points in 40 games. Those players left and Snuggerud dropped to 34 points in 39 games as a sophomore. I don't claim to know what he was thinking, but I can imagine he wanted to show that he could lead the team.
This year, he has 37 points in 28 games, 9 more points than any other player on the team. Mission accomplished. I fully expect he will sign with St. Louis when his college season is done.
Barring some sort of rift with St. Louis, I doubt they'd have any interest in trading him. If anything, they'd be looking for help on defense, which isn't something we have in abundance.
Very often, it's a simple calculus between staying in college and playing in the AHL. All of these players want to make it to the NHL, but most would rather skip the AHL entirely, particularly the higher-end prospects.yeah but you're frequently shocked
and you think the only thing that matters at all is a (not really existent) straight short line to the NHL
as much as these Minny kids dream about playing NHL, they also dream about being Gophers
the college hockey experience is fun and fulfilling and also one of the best preparations for a pro hockey career
him not signing earlier w Blues doesn't necessarily mean anything at all
