Landeskog - Still a giant question mark
Drouin - Has played a grand total of 5 games in between missing time
Wood - Sounds like he's gonna be out long term
Colton - Missing more than a month with a broken foot
Manson - Probably out for awhile since he probably broke his hand
Kylington - Mystery injury as soon as he started playing well

You know what kills me about Wood? He for sure came back from his initial injury way too soon and got hurt much, much worse.

I'm betting Wood is done for the year, maybe back in the playoffs assuming we even make it.


Might not be the worst thing in the world if they know he wont be back. $2.5M would be a decent chunk to play with between now and the deadline.



They really need to just stop with the injuries though. I'm really not convinced they make playoffs at this point.

Applying the standard Avs underestimating factor, that makes Kylington week to week, Manson month to month, Wood year to year, and Landy lifetime to lifetime.

Losing Manson is the one who will hurt the most , part of our top 4 and the D will be soft as butter.

If we LTIR all our injuries and replace them with other contracts, we could end up with an NFL sized roster come playoffs. We'll need a mezzanine level installed on the Avs bench at the sack.
