Anyone know our record after 5 or more days off?

I feel like it's pretty bad... any ideas?

Terrible, just like all the other tropes around here. Bad on afternoon games, bad on back 2 backs, bad after 2 days off, bad coming off spring break, bad every 2nd week of January, bad everyday that ends in y.

I don't know what any of this means but for me it's simple. When what you are doing isn't working change the things that are easiest to change first. Coop isn't going to be here for the coming rebuild anyway and the team is stuck in neutral and has been for years. Take a shot on a new voice and some different energy. What does the team have to lose?

You think changing the coach is the easiest change, and that the team has nothing to lose in doing so?

Please explain this nonsense

We recalled Gage, that means Point still out that means we gonna struggle that means we gon lose. Go Bolts!
Honestly hopefully they just recalled him to have 13 healthy players at roster

I'm gonna guess being down our 1C and biggest play driver has something to do with the recent struggles. Just a guess.

I think there are plenty of examples of a coaching change turning a season around.

We have different definitions for easy. A new coach changing structures and wanting to hand pick his players doesn't sound like an easy change to me.

We also aren't 0-15, we don't need to turn the season around.

Honestly, I was asking bc it feels like we struggle after long layoffs under Coop.

But as my avatar says...I'll eat it anytime.

If Point is still out it's hard to see them beating anyone good. The lack of any information or even rough timeline on his projected time missed is also a joke. If it's just another few games, fine, but if it's going to be several weeks or a couple months, the team is in serious trouble if they don't make some moves.

Seems pretty clear this team is screwed without Pointer or Kuch. I’d even suggest both are more important than Vassy at this Point.

I really hate the lack of information on injuries. Atleast he’s not on LTIR? He’s already missed 3-4 games so hopefully that means no more than another week or so.

Well we know Cirelli isnt a number one or two. So we have a A+ 3rd line center below average 2nd line center playing top line center.

Yes, it's obviously easier to change the coach than to constantly change players and hope that this player will be able to over-perform (or at least not under-perform) under Cooper.
and that the team has nothing to lose in doing so?
It's a wildcard team for a while now. It's hard to believe that things will get worse under the new coach. Anyway this team has little time left, you can't trust Cooper forever just because he won cups in the past.

Tampa's been a wild card team once in the last few seasons, and it's far too early to say whether that's going to be the case this year. I doubt changing from Cooper to some (likely) relatively unknown coach with far less success at the NHL level is going to result in some b2b Cup success like Sullivan in Pittsburgh. The assistants will get overhauled more than likely if Tampa fails to get out of the 1st round or worse, but Cooper isn't going to face any serious pressure until next season at the earliest imo.

At which lines did Groshev and Sheary played at Syr?
But I dont know who is expecting that Groshev will score much,or is a scoring player,he is and always was 3ed 4th line player, his playstyle is so,winning board battles take puck deep etc. He is more like Killorn,Goodrow, but not Palat or Hagel, and he would be much usefull as 3rd 4th line player as Bolt than Sheary, and I think he wont be worse than Goncalves as Bolt.
