Not too often you get to see the end of all three AUS games.

SMU with their second straight overtime win over Moncton. Came back from two goals down. A needed win. Huskies now alone in third place.

UPEI scored a shorthanded goal with 1:48 left to beat STFX. Two wins in a row for the Panthers.

Entertaining game at SMU on Saturday. The Huskies overcome a 2 goal deficit and win 3-2 in OT.

West was in for SMU and played well, as did Darveau at the other end, with 39 saves.

Several good hits by both teams.

Didn't catch the rescheduled SMU UPEI game last night, but another loss for the Panthers. I'm surprised/not surprised (if that's a thing?) about how lackluster they've been so far. I think many expected them to be further ahead in the standings at this point in the season with the full group of returnees from last year. I've caught a few of their games and thought that they work hard but don't exactly have any lethal goal scoring threats

I'm making the trek to X this Saturday. Should be a good tilt vs UNB. Cheers

Watched most of the webcast. The game was close until the third period, I thought. Then the Panthers kept getting burned with penalties and miscues. Several SMU players scored their first goals or points of the season, so some monkeys off backs for their side.

In my limited viewings of UPEI this year…they don’t seem to be very good in their own end + their goaltending hasn’t been as strong as last year. Maybe they weren’t as good defensively last year either and their goaltending bailed them out and that just hasn’t been the case this season, I’m not sure?

I was at the rink last night. The game was fun for a while. SMU went on a 3 goal run in the 2nd and UPEI battled back to make it close until SMU scored another 3 in the 3rd.
West got his 4th start in a row and was "decent". Ranger had his moments but gave up a few softies.
I agree their D-zone coverage is not that great, but I like the physical play of them and UdeM.

Not going to DAL/UNB game because I don't need to see a 10-0 game. May go Sat to watch UdeM.

It sounds crazy to say about a 9-2 game but I actually thought Dal played pretty well tonight all things considered .

DiMattia let in a few stinkers , game could have been a little closer. I’m assuming the idea was to save Chenard for the game that they view as one they can try and hang in but tough for him to be thrown at the wolves so I mean no disrespect to him.

Wonder if Chenard might be able to hold them in a few games in the second half.

I’ve got nothing but respect for the Tigers , it can’t be easy to show up night in and night out but as much as no one wants to be called “good losers” very rarely do I see someone take their frustrations out in a shitty manner and every time they are in Freddy I am impressed they work hard for 60 minutes no matter what the score is.

Here’s hoping moving back on campus will give some sort of bump to the program.

I think Dal over Moncton might be the bigger upset from last week.

On vacation and haven’t been able to watch the games. Was surprised to see the Panthers keep such a low scoring game against the Reds considering the thumping they took last time. Ranger stopped 41 of 43.

First game on the Island was 3-1 as well. I was definitely expecting a much closer game when they came down to Fredericton.

Caught the UPEI UNB game last night in Charlottetown. I thought the Panthers played with the Reds for as long as they could, not much space on either side. Panthers had some unlucky calls that foiled any remote chance they might have had. Forbes was pretty animated behind the bench and was really giving it to the stripes. Also not sure how it looked on the webcast but Pearson's run into Richard in the 2nd seemed bad at ice level. Don't think the Reds were too happy about that.

Online and in real time I thought it looked like a hard collision, but I didn’t get the sense it was malicious. Maybe if I go back and watch it again my opinion would change though…

Decent game at the Fabulous Forum tonight for 2 periods until SMU blew it open in the 3rd. West started another game and was solid making several glove saves on DAL breakaways.

Can SMU continue their run with a win over SFX Saturday?

Just before anyone gets on it, U de M was not 0-10 on the PP @ UNB tonight. Presto being Presto with the misconducts and minors that didn't result in an advantage. Les Aigles were actually 0-5, it will get updated online.
