I’m curious, if Zibanejad and Kakko are the top centers, what are Trocheck and Chytil the Beetle doing?

Edit: Oh never mind, he’s hurt.
Trocheck has been invisible, and Chytil, like you pointed out, is hurt. Looked great to start the season though.

His injury is is also very concerning. It's not a concussion, but he has been out for like two weeks now, "day-to-day"?

And I refered to Kakko actually looking like a #2C, not playing at that position. Zibanejad and Trocheck are playing, but doing f*** all.

Makar has been far and way the best defenseman in the NHL this year. In all zones.

Columbus would trade two or three Werenskis for one Makar.
Yeah, I think Werenski has been an underrated defenseman for a while, and I'm a bigger fan of him than most. But he is at least a couple tiers below Makar on the ice. Very good and can be really dynamic, but on his best day he barely sniffs Makar's average level.

Oh definitely, all my point was he's been really good so far.

The season is young these games are like exhibition hockey

What was that question at :45?

I migth be missing a few key words, but it sounded like Sacco was asked about still having confidence in someone, or the team, and his response was, "Well.....yeah, you could say that."

Yeah I have trouble making out some of what's being asked, but I THINK that comment from Dater (Lol) was talking about John-Michael Liles, and asking about his "confidence" and "getting back to his game..." I don't remember what was going on at the time, but I guess he was playing like shit and bringing him up triggered ol' Joe for whatever reason

Just the GOAT doing GOAT things

The initial phrasing of this tweet with the word "typically", combined with his fight the other day, and the trade rumors, had me expecting that story to turn out a different way.

Like, "Sidney Crosby typically hosts a Thanksgiving meal at his house for teammates who don't have plans or family in town, but after the way they've played this year, he told them all to f*** off and feed themselves."

Sid's not dumb. He knows more about the game of hockey than all of us combined, and he sure as shit knows that the roster sucks and will continue to suck for the rest of his career. I believe he fully accepts that and is content to be a lifer in Pittsburgh and ride off into the sunset with Malkin and Letang. He doesn't have anything left to accomplish for his career except climbing a few spots higher into the top ten all time in points.

I think you're most likely right. It's a nice dream, but it would also make the Mitts trade kind of unnecessary, since it didn't fully pay off last year.
