Hughes and co just throwing darts blindfolded now. Actually, the blindfold is probably too much effort; they’re probably just throwing no-lookers at the board. They were so impressed with themselves after the first round they just mailed it in 😂

Why a goalie? Weren't the 3 goalies last year not enough?

If you throwing darts might as well throw one for a forward or D not a goalie.

He was excellent at the recent u18s. Big with quick feet and really competitive. He didn't give up on plays. He kind of reminded me of a bigger Halak. Like Halak, he needs to work on his rebound control.

He's Euro, so we have his rights for 4 years. We'll know where we're at with Primeau (probably gone), Dobes, Fowler and even Montembeault by the time we need to sign this guy.

Well the 3 goalies drafted last year means we are good for the next 3 years lol
Goalies are such a crap shoot that you take as many in the draft as you can and hope you find magic in one, maybe two. None of the young goalies in our system have established themselves yet so until we have that confidence in them, we need to keep farming them threw the draft.
