That was the worst period of hockey I've seen from Canada in a long time.

D'Aigle is in net for Canada now. Canada didn't allow any real high danger scoring chances after the goalie change, and did try to push the pace up the ice for a change, but did nothing at offensive end.

Sweden played at a much higher pace than Canada overall - not just skating, but puck movement and net drive too.

5-0 Sweden after one.

Damn I can see why Willander is now talked about as a potential 1st rounder. He just made an absolutely beautiful tape to tape pass to neutral zone in stride while coming around his own net.

That pass was wicked hard too, and the receiving player was in motion. Everything about it was flow.

Forsfjall scored that one.

Burns tries to block it instead the shot goes off him & past D'Aigle. A big change of direction that D'Aigle couldn't catch up to.

Great presence in the Ozone after that with a great pass in the slot
