Dylan James didn't even get an invite, eh? Bummer.

Possible WJCers
Russia (If allowed) - Buchelnikov
Sweden - Edvinsson (?), Dower-Nilsson
Canada - Cossa.

Not a lot, really.
I can't see Edvinsson leaving the AHL, either.

He’s not looking like a good return on investment at #40 overall.

In hindsight, it looks like any of Noah Warren, Matyas Sapovaliv, Luca DelBelBelluz, Christian Kyrou, Seamus Casey or Jack Hughes would have been better.

Yes.

So we've got Buium and Savage on USA. And probably Dower-Nilsson on Sweden. And Buchelnikov on Russia if they are in the tournament at all.

That's probably it, eh?
it'd be sad if edvinsson doesnt go.

I thought the word on the street is that he's probably not going. Or am I thinking of Kasper?

Kasper is taking the time to rest and focus on SHL. Austria would rather he play for the mens team anyway.

Right, I knew that, but was there also talk of Edvinsson not going? Honestly can't remember. Kinda thought there was, but maybe I'm just thinking of Kasper.

9 pts in 15 games at the NCAA level is not too bad for a 2nd round pick.

Noah Warren has 4 pts in 16 games…. Jack Hughes has 5 pts in the NCAA…

Also it’s super early still, lol

Going to watch a lot of Connor Bedard. Amazing shot that everyone knows about. Great fake shot-toe drag move.

It's easy to like him.

Casey, yes.

Others are up for debate IMO.

And I wanted a center with that pick...

Even if he doesn't stick as a center, he's going to be a good one.

Gleb Trikozov
Adam Sykora
Julian Lutz
David Goyette
Matyas Sapoliv
Danny Zhilkin

Those were the top six on my list

Quarter of the way through the season after the draft is way too early to say abolutely anything about who was a good investment or who was a reach etc.

He's also +4 on a team with a lot of minuses. I thought the numbers were encouraging jumping into the NCAA, not going to get a ton of opportunities right off the bat as a freshman. No penalties either.

Exactly, this is ridiculous even for HF standards.

Russia won't be there, so no World Juniors experience for Buch.
