OP you listed St Louis even though they're already voted in. Did you miss another team instead?

To me - this is between Washington and Boston.

Both teams have been consistently great for a few years, even though playoff disappointments more recently. Both are ageing/on the decline, but both should still be good this year and have the ability to go on a run come playoffs.

I'll vote Washington above Boston. I figure Boston has more injuries to deal with so is a risk to even make playoffs. But - it's close.

In the west Wild should go soon, but I just don't know that I see them going all the way.

Your right, should be Seattle. Can a mod fix that???

How is Minnesota outside the top 10 when they finished top 5 last year and retained most of their core from last year?

Washington. I considered them, as it always seems to be, right beside Pittsburgh.

So did just about everyone else. Only 8 teams make the second round and we're on 12.
They weren't arguing against the Wild not going yet. They said HOW are they not in the top 10, like it was blasphemy they haven't gone yet.

The Wild haven't really done anything to have a top 10 spot locked down.

Two teams that lose in the first round go in the top 10.

They had the best record of any team to lose in the first round except for Toronto who went top 5.

Do you think Minny deserves a top 10 spot locked down?

And I don't just mean your personal top 10, I'm asking if Minny is clearly a top 10 team, no hesitation.

Its a bit of a stretch to me.

I wouldn't say that but I also wouldn't say that "lost in the first round" is a disqualifier.

That's the way your post sounded.

Nashville for me this time. They have quite good defense and decent offense. If Saros gets in to "zone" who known who they could beat in playoffs series..

Can't believe St Louis hasn't gone yet, clearly a cut above the rest of the options
:sarcasm:

Washington over Minny for me here. Vet heavy teams get no respect on this website. The Caps are still very very good.
