If you remove the graduates, Farrell was voted #1 last summer.
He just had a great NCAA season where he finished 2nd in pts/game in the league, but has now fallen to 8th in the habs prospect ranking...

I hear you. But Dumais had a great season at a lower level. If he was in our prospect pool, would that automatically catapult him to #1.

There have been a ton of Hobey Baker finalists that didn't go on to be NHLers.

I think I like Mesar more.

Better skater, better shooter, better stickhandler. What farrell does well, Mesar also does. Farrell is a smarter player and more effective, so its a bet against IQ that Im doing but hey, Im doing it.

The more I think about it I think Heineman should be much higher. Has a similar motor to Lehkonen but his tools are off the charts. He has decent size, fastest skater in our pool, one of the best shots in our pool as well. I would be shocked if he turns in to anything less than a 20+ goal 2 way winger with the potential to be more. I think Mailloux is too high based on from what I have seen, the tools are there it just shows he has not played too much hockey the past few years, defence needs a ways to go. Solid list so far, I would have Engstrom and Heineman higher and Mailloux much lower probably in the 6th or 7th slot. When you factor in the upside as well as keeping in mind probability of hitting it.

I voted Mesar. But pickings getting slim. Small winger he has to have elite offense skills or likely be fringe player. I have my doubts
