Just wondering what the Ducks could get for the 2nd overall pick this year on the trade board from other teams fans. The Ducks are in the middle of a rebuild, so a draft pick like this isn't super useful. What we really want is a quantity for quality kind of deal, preferably aging players on big contracts or pending UFAs. Basically, a pick isn't even a player yet so really we just want you to offer something that makes us better right now because the team is bad and we're a small market fanbase that doesn't understand hockey.

Thanks!

Think big. Like Charlie Conway or Adam Banks.

Well done. Hits the high notes, is right on the edge of believable, just an all around solid job of dangling the bait out there...

You're one of them aren't you?

I applaud the troll post. Well done.

The Ducks have a fairly mediocre, aging core of Henrique, Silfverberg, Strome, Vatrano, Fowler, and Gibson.

Yes, there's some exciting up & comers with the likes of Zegras, Terry, McTavish, and Lundestrom up front, Drysdale on the blueline... but they're still likely a couple of seasons away from contending.

Adam Fantilli, a true centre who dominated as an 18-year old in the NCAA -- doesn't seem to be a more logical additioan than that.
