Gonna stick with my boy.

The good thing is they have a deep group of bottom six/3rd pair D prospects.
While that may not excite many people, it's how you build a deep AHL team that can feed you decent players when injuries strike, and hopefully a few outperform expectations. These are the guys you marinate for 2-3 years in the AHL and hope they take a step up.

One problem with Hextall is he failed to build that depth, Bunnaman, Twarynski, Vorobyev, Kase, et al came up short, forcing the Flyers to field veteran scrubs in the bottom six on a regular basis.
We'll see if Briere can do a better job in that regard.
