The extremist takes on both sides of the DW debate are a bit much for me. He was clearly a decent GM who had a budget team in the mix every year for a decade and a half. He also put his own f***ing son in charge of our scouting department and dug us into a significantly deeper hole than we needed to be in after the 2019-2020 season.

Some praise and some criticism is warranted, but if I had to take a side, I’d say it’s valid to say pretty much whatever you want about the guy on the principle of him putting his kid in charge of our scouting department and grooming him to be his replacement. I don’t even think DWJr did an especially bad job, but the sheer absurdity of that decision is inexcusable and justifies some pretty strong opinions. Personally, I understand we have blind spots for our families and I’m willing to let it go, but I can’t blame somebody for being pissed off about that.

Wow I know Walman has been great for us but jesus look at his numbers. He has 17 points and is a +7 in 21 games which is a 66 point pace in 82 games. Major note is his career high is 21 points which he got last year in 63 games. This guy is on pace to break his career high in 27 games played if he keeps this up.....
