Does Zadina ask for a mutual buyout if the Sharks sign Tarasenko? Are there any rules against it?

They need space so it might only cost mcdermid+pickGive me Jarnkrok and Timmins, like Balthazar said. Cant think of a better idea.
$2.5M.One guy I've had my eye on is Alexander Barabonov.
It's just a matter of when, not if, the Sharks trade him. Barabonov has one year left at $3M, but would be a great pick up at $1.5M if San Jose retained 50%.
And considering the Avalanche and Sharks have traded with each other constantly the last 10 years, including in each of the last three seasons, I think there's a decent chance the team could land Barabonov at some point.
If anyone gets bumped from PP2 it's Mr. muffin shot, Girard. Not Toews who can wire some shots from the point.I’d cut Toews from PP2. He plays enough 5 on 5 and PK already. Let Bo and G get comfortable on PP2. Then if Makar misses some time Toews can step in on PP1 without messing the chemistry on PP2. Three D-men on a powerplay does not work, and we should have the forwards this year to actually have two strong units up front.
I would actually be a bit disappointed if JD only has 50 pts. On this team and playing with Mack he needs at least 55.
As for the PP I don't mind Mack in the bumper as a rover but JD is left handed so I don't think him on the left wall would work well. A right handed player should be on the left wall. JD should run PP2 from the left wall.
RyJo should be in the bumper. He has a much better shot than Nuke. Nuke is elite at screening goalies on the PP and he is pretty good at deflecting pucks as well. He should be in front of the net.
When Toews stepped in for Makar on the first unit PP last year he was pretty awful. Flubbing pucks at the line and not really getting clean looks for himself or Mack/Mikko.If anyone gets bumped from PP2 it's Mr. muffin shot, Girard. Not Toews who can wire some shots from the point.
I don't care about minutes, if you pick Girard over Toews you are actively making your PP worse for no real reason.
I actually thought our PP2 looked really good at times last season in the extremely limited seconds they get.our PP2 literally doesnt matter, PP1 plays 90% of the time on PP it feels like
Every team should treat PP1 like the Oilers do. Give them 1:40, give PP2 the final 20 seconds and that's only if the PK clears it down the ice. Otherwise stay on for the entire 2 minutes.I actually thought our PP2 looked really good at times last season in the extremely limited seconds they get.
Hence why Toews is on PP2, which he does perfectly fine. When Toews stepped in for Makar on the first unit PP last year he was pretty awful. Flubbing pucks at the line and not really getting clean looks for himself or Mack/Mikko.
yes to Barabonov.Been wanting him for awhileOne guy I've had my eye on is Alexander Barabonov.
It's just a matter of when, not if, the Sharks trade him. Barabonov has one year left at$3M$2.5M, but would be a great pick up at$1.5M$1.25M if San Jose retained 50%.

Edit:
I am not holding my breath he wont be ending on nacho duty and gone after a year, but here is the hoping that playing on the same team as MacK, maybe even same line, would provide him both mental support and some kind of inner pressure, pride or something, that he will try his best in order not to let MacK down. Or to show he could be as good as him or whatever else would motivate him. And since its not the talent, but the effort, that seemed to be the issue with him over the years, this could help. What does success look like for the Drouin signing? He was well above .5 pt/game in Montreal, but deemed a disappointment. I'd be content with that level of production and anything more would be gravy.
I know it might be overly optimistic since he's damaged goods at this point, but I wonder what effect just getting Drouin out of Montreal will have on his headspace. Now, granted, he needs to put in the work himself to get mentally tougher, but still... that alone could give him the ability to be successful in the targeted role we expect.
Don't see how Drouin's floor is above Erod when Rodrigues is the better player.Even if Drouin doesn’t ”break out”, his Floor should still be above Rodrigues, let alone Malgin. As long as Nuke returns to form, top6 should be allright. RyJo should be an upgrade ovet JTC.
Really feels like it solidifies Colton in the mid-to-upper 3s on a shorter term deal and in to the 4s on a longer dealSome payment for potential there. Glad Newhook secured enough for his life if he spends it wisely.
Girard had 1 more point on the PP than Toews did last year, both had only 1 goal.Hence why Toews is on PP2, which he does perfectly fine.
Girard is simply useless on the PP because everyone knows he isn't going to shoot. The defenders just play pass and lean towards the shooters.
This. The PP will produce enough… least of my concern. Avs need to be a much better 5v5 team next year. Far more concerned with the impacts there.
Honest question: Why does Colton deserve more than Newhook? Statistically they are pretty similar (on an aggregated basis), the key differences being:Really feels like it solidifies Colton in the mid-to-upper 3s on a shorter term deal and in to the 4s on a longer deal
