Not at the time of the draft but it's hard to see either being more than complimentary pieces.

Both are NHLers though. Gabe is still soo young, and truthfully I don’t think he could manage an NHL shift at 18 with his size, Laf and Kakko did.Not at the time of the draft but it's hard to see either being more than complimentary pieces.
I think his upside now is greater than the upside for either of them based on where they are currently. Of course, his floor is also still that of a bust, so there's a trade off.
Has Othmann been playing exclusively RW?
A bit of both. When he's with Berard, he's on the left, when he's with Edström, he's on the right.
Knoblauch has mixed up the lines regularly early in the season but Othmann seems to be getting his chances on either side.
Has he looked best at his natural LW? Where have his points come from?
Kaki's first season here I'd argue he wasn't ready for an NHL shift based on fitness. Both are NHLers though. Gabe is still soo young, and truthfully I don’t think he could manage an NHL shift at 18 with his size, Laf and Kakko did.
In a couple years, i think Gabe could pass one or both of them, but that is speculation at this time.
Stamina wise you are right, he was gassed early. I guess I was thinking more size, he was able to play in that WC and dominate vs NHLers. Got me so excited...sighKaki's first season here I'd argue he wasn't ready for an NHL shift based on fitness.
He'd often end his shift early incredibly gassed after 30-35 seconds. And in a shift where he never really skated hard.
Had the Rangers been less of a tie fire in terms of depth, he should have played most of that first season in the AHL.

He really should have been sent down to the AHL for the majority of his first season. The same could be said for Lafreniere...
When being a top pick (or close) is maybe more of a curse…He really should have been sent down to the AHL for the majority of his first season. The same could be said for Lafreniere...
Joel's future plans now knownI wonder what happened with Simon Kjellberg. He was set to play his final year at Northern Michigan and then disappeared from the roster without a peep. His brother, Joel, was also committed to NMU for 24-25, and it looks like he may have decommitted.
Is he a LD or RD?Watching BC/Maine. Fortescue plays a physical game. He can also skate and isn’t afraid to join the rush. He looks good out there.
LDIs he a LD or RD?
GoodLD
Gabe just got the primary assist on the PP to make it 1-1
He’s playing LD.Is he a LD or RD?
Yup. Was just going to post about Gabe. Heady, unselfish play.LD

GP would have a goal and two assists already if not for stellar goaltending.Great play by Gabe to set up Smith for a breakaway, but the goalie made a good save.
Josh Nadeau is a hell of a player. Every bit as dynamic as his brother. I know he's undersized, but I can't believe no one drafted him.GP would have a goal and two assists already if not for stellar goaltending.
